Addosser Microfinance Bank Awarded “Best SME Bank of the Year 2025”

Addosser Microfinance Bank has been awarded “Best SME Bank of the Year 2025 (Microfinance Category)” at the 5th Nigeria National SME Business Awards (NNSBA), organised by the Association of Small Business Owners of Nigeria (ASBON) in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade & Investment (MCCTI).

The NNSBA is Nigeria’s premier recognition platform for organisations that power small-business growth. With over 50,000 entrepreneurs in its network across 29 states, ASBON honours institutions that tangibly support Nano, Micro and Small Enterprises (NMSEs). 

Our selection as ‘Best SME Bank of the Year 2025’ underscores our unwavering focus on accessible finance, advisory support and innovative banking products tailored to Nigeria’s dynamic SME landscape. The award was formally presented on Thursday, 24 April 2025 at the Lagos State Treasury Office Resource Centre, Central Business District, Ikeja. 

Accepting the award on behalf of the Bank were the Managing Director, Mr. Bayo Fabiyi, and the Group Head, SME Banking, Mrs. Temitope Afolabi. 

In his remarks, Mr. Fabiyi said:

It affirms our dedication to the SME space and our commitment to women’s development. 60 % of our loans go to women, squarely in line with ASBON’s objectives.
